Burk AutoPilot 2.339

We're building a machine to be a back-up for our Burk AutoPilot, running software version 2.339, for taking transmitter site meter readings and control. The software appears to be installed correctly. The com port appears to be communicating with data coming-in and data going-out. But, we can't connect to our studio remote control unit. When we try to connect, we get an error that says "unable to connect to the xxxx studio - the ARC16 is not responding". The main computer has no issue connectly, so the remote box seems to be okay. The back-up machine has a fresh install of Windows XP. The firewall is turned-off. We've set-up the two machines to be identical from an AutoPilot configuration perspective. Burk no longer supports this version of software. Any ideas?
