Thread: Is there anyplace that has generic demographics for formats?

Is there anyplace that has generic demographics for formats?

I'm trying to find a website, book, or something that published a generic demographic strength/weakness report for each of the major formats: Oldies, Classic Rock, AC (Hot and Soft Hits), CHR (Rock and Rhymthic), AAA, Jack (and its derivitaves), Country, and if it exists anymore, whatever is there in the place of Beautiful Music/Easy Listening.

I would hope that the data is reasonably up to date, and extremely accurate (at least to a national average).

Is there any such resource online?

There is a wealth of free information on Arbitron's website. Go to their site index here http://www.arbitron.com/home/site_index.htm and click on "F". The menu choices include: Format Trends Report, Format List, Free Reports, Ratings & Studies, Free Studies, Ratings & Reports
