What's with the sloppy production on OGL's dance party?

I've been listening all evening and have heard jingles go over songs, spots go over songs, and so on. Just wondering who is running the board while the show is on, and why so sloppy?
Edit to add: It gets worse and worse...now the signal keeps dropping out and songs double up on one another.
Edited by JoeyDee_WOGL on 06/26/05 03:44 AM.

Twice within 5 minutues (after 11:30), the feed from Pantano dropped out.
______________

They had similiar problems friday night with Harvey Holiday live from Bally's between 8-11PM

Sounds like automation with no board op. Certain tones from the music could be setting off jingles and spots just like Bob had hit the button for those to run.

This has been done with sports for at least a decade. But obviously, it is still far from perfect.

Why no board op?

The reason is glaringly simple...no board op; one less salary you need to pay.
Sounds also like some of the frequencies in the music are setting off the tone detectors in the automation, thus making it fire.
