Les Moonves Discusses CBS Selling Smaller Market Radio Stations

This really isn't anything new. He's said this many times. They've already sold stations in Kansas City, West Palm Beach, and Buffalo. The main thrust for CBS has been to keep radio in their TV markets, and to operate them as combined radio-TV-internet platforms. They have a very aggressive interactive department, and that's been a growth area, while radio has been pretty slow, as Moonves admitted. So the likely sale markets are large markets where they have radio-only operations.
