CBS O&O new ident/logo

I know KPIX San Francisco, KCBS-TV/KCAL Los Angeles and recently KTVT Forth Worth Dallas have drop or modified their channel number and branding. For example KPIX 5, the (5) logo is drop and only mentions KPIX. KCBS 2 and KCAL 9 drop their channel number logo and only use KCAL NEWS as their news branding. KTVT still keep their channel number, but rename from CBS DFW to CBS Texas.

Will other CBS O&O drop their channel number and use their call letters as logo?
WCBS CBS 2 - New York
KCNC CBS 4 - Denver
WCCO CBS 4 - Minneapolis/St. Paul
WBBM CBS 2 - Chicago
WFOR CBS 4 - Miami
KDKA CBS 2 - Pittsburgh
KOVR CBS 13 - Sacramento
WBZ CBS 4 - Boston
WJZ CBS 13 - Baltimore.

I forgot to mention about Detroit drop their CBS 62 logo and switch to CBS News Detroit/ CBS Detroit.
Well get ready for part 2 the secondary Paramount owned stations getting rebranded especially ones losing their CW affiliations like KBCW San Francisco, KMAX Sacramento, WKBD Detroit, WPCW Pittsburgh, WPSG Philadelphia.

Also like what we mentioned in the other thread about Nexstar having to find new CW affiliates we mentioned about how WTOG, WUPA and KSTW gets rebranded would be left in question marks.

Like this one it would have to be removed for the fall season.

The rebranding has already begun. URLs for those stations have already changed to CBSNews.com. Here's KMAX Sacramento:

KMAX Sacramento the Paramount owned station and soon to be former CW affiliate gets a new logo. KMAX Sacramento follows the KPIX and KCAL branding. Basically the Soon to be former CW affiliates will follow the primary Paramount owned CBS affiliates.

i wonder if CBS has plans to rebrand KTXA in Dallas from "TXA 21" to "CBS Texas+" to reflect on KTVT's rebranding from "CBS 11" to "CBS Texas" to match the rebranding of other stations CBS owns that are soon to be former CW/now former MyNetworkTV stations.

If that is going to happen in other places. So far the Paramount owned stations Pittsburgh, Sacramento and San Francisco removed the CW logo from their branding and connect them with the main CBS Affiliate in those areas. However the Tampa, Seattle and Atlanta Paramount owned stations cannot just rename themselves as CBS "Your City"+ given that the CBS affiliation went to other parties like Gray, Tegna and Cox in those cities.

yeah, that's true, but in Dallas, they own the CBS Station, and here's something interesting, while watching this week's WOW: Women of Wrestling episode on DVR recorded off of KTXA 21, i came across a ad for Jeopardy on KTXA 21 with Ken Jennings announcing that starting on Monday, September 11, Jeopardy is leaving KTXA (possibly to make room for a hour of Family Feud since it's moving to KTXA from KDFI 27 aka Fox 4 More) to move to sister station KTVT but at 6 PM, which means it looks like KTVT is ending their 6 PM newscast or more likely moving it to the CBS News Texas 24/7 Stream channel. this is weird for a central time zone station phase out 6 PM news for something else, i can see it more in the Eastern time zone where 7 PM CT is 8 PM ET. i guess those who watch KTVT for news at 6 are going to go watch news on KDFW Fox 4, KXAS NBC 5 or WFAA (ABC) 8, i wonder if KTVT's 6 PM newscast was the lowest rated newscast in DFW for that time slot.

I'm guessing that Sinclair & must've gotten a new deal with The CW when I saw that MyNet TV station in The Steel City becoming the new home of The CW looks like that has come full circle as they aired UPN & The WB at one time in the 90's.

WKBD is going to be renamed as Detroit50 according to Paramount.

WPSG Philadelphia is going to be renamed as Philly 57.

WUPA is going to be renamed as Atlanta 69

KSTW gets the Seattle 11 branding.
