Music on KKGO-FM HD-4

Two step process (doing this from memory so there may e slight variations):
1. Use Google Maps or your favorite mapping program to find the GPS coordinates for Mt. Lukens.
2. Go to FCC.gov and search for 'FM Query'. Select FM query. A page comes up to enter data. Pick 'distance from a location'. Use the coordinates from Step 1, and a 1 km radius.

The list of all FM on Mt. Lukens (including applications and CP) should be displayed.

It's possible that the browser one uses is blocking the access to LiteFMLA.com,
depending on new SSL safety settings that are being imposed in browser updates over the next month or so.

I had been getting the placeholder page until I tried

this link (worked for me on Google Chrome): https://www.litefmla.com/

@TheBigA - I very much know what a domain parking placeholder splash page is, and http://www.litefmla.com contains a minimalist version of the standard Mt. Wilson radio website template. The site only serves up if you include https. If you try to access it as http you get the IIS7 splash page you are presumably referencing.

Commentary - Other than https://www.gocountry105.com, the Mt. Wilson radio websites lack robust content - http://laoldies.com, https://www.unforgettablela.com and https://www.litefmla.com - are all built on the same platform and are inferior to what every other radio station in town has as their website design and content.

Keep in mind this is a station that isn't spending much money on their main air signal, so spending on digital gets an even smaller priority.

I'm trying to find how to stream K-Mozart. It is on air at 88.1 HD2 along with 105.1 HD4, but is not available on TuneIn, Radio.com, or iHeart. Also, its website does not stream via the website, rather it wants you to download a Mt. Wilson app. I'm looking to stream it via a larger streaming radio platform rather than clutter up my phone with yet another single station app.
Thoughts?

It shows up on TuneIn when I browse to Los Angeles and scroll down to 88.1 on the iOS app. If you search it that way, you should be able to find it. Its entry looks a bit weird and may not be easy to search out.

I just submitted it to the Radio Gram app with the correct logo and name attached. They should add it shortly to their app.

KKGO really needs to settle on a sub-channel setup or do away with it and restore their former strength since HD sub-channels degrade the primary signal the more they open up. I love their passion for HD Radio but changing sub-channel formats as often as I change socks isn't conducive to listener-ship or stability.

I think if they were concerned about those things, they'd make far more substantial changes than the ones you recommend.

The digital signal does not take energy away from the analog signal. They are totally separate...some stations even use a separate transmitter and antenna for digital.

Very true but it does talk away from the HD 1 primary signal which HD radios (many newer cars today) pick up by default for the primary freq. unless specifically tweaked in settings).
