None huh? noticed the old site still works for now.

Ehhh...it looks slightly better than what the popup-ridden CBS site looked like. (I was never a fan of their old templates. Again, popups every time, and just riddled with those AdChoice spots. ETM, OTOH, look slick.)The WBZ iHeart site is a sight that will make one's eyes sore.
Godspeed, WBZ.
As one may expect probably similar to other iHeart news talkers, cookie cutter
BTW the previous site was a cookie cutter CBSLocal site. When CBS corporatized its digital division about ten years ago, all local websites were absorbed into the corporate platform. This is nothing new. Just going from one corporate platform to another.
BTW as of midnight the link from Boston.CBSLocal to WBZNewsradio still works:
http://boston.cbslocal.com/station/wbz-news-radio/
Long may it continue to work!!!
As I posted earlier in this thread, at some point the whole BostonCBSLocal domain will likely change, since it's mostly obsolete.

True, but sad, since it signifies the passing of an era.
Things change, dude. It's just a stinkin' web site. Not that much of an era.
WBZ-AM/TV existed way before their website did.
Once again, things change. Get used to it. The big change happened when Westinghouse was bought by CBS.
Not to nitpick, but it was Westinghouse who bought CBS, and then took its name, spinning off all of Westinghouse's former lines of business.
Has been said iHeart won't get WRKO till WKOX has been sold.
Speaking of the legal IDs, I've heard "always on radio.com" more than "a CBS radio station", at least within the last few years. I imagine the former will stay and will be expanded to the original ETM properties.Tom Taylor:"Some “CBS Radio” branding will go away immediately, in places like top-of-the-hour IDs – and there are a lot of those to change. Does that mean Entercom wants “CBS Radio” to be replaced by “Entercom?” Not necessarily. But brand-building, and making up ground with iHeart, will be important on places like Wall Street and Madison Avenue. Also - This NOW Newsletter hears that Entercom has sped up its digital transition away from the combined TV/radio “CBS Local” platforms. They haven’t been popular with radio people, who say it’s hard to quickly get to a specific radio station. The original timetable was to share with CBS Local for a year or more, but that’s supposedly been pushed up to this coming April – it not sooner. Look for Entercom to do more with CBS Radio’s “Radio.com.” Same with individual station apps, through Radio.com."
