Not surprising. There are lots of other, better established streaming services offering some really great original content - and most people probably think of YouTube as a place for "how to" videos and things like bits from older movies, shows and the like, not necessarily a go to site for original movies or series. On the other end of the YouTube's model, it's been a long time since we've seen lots of YouTube videos going viral as was once the case somewhat often. The focus for shorter, user generated content now seems to be on TikTok.
