My first post. Every Saturday morning I visit the local yard sales with my daughters. They collect and sell video games and systems while I try to find vintage bicycles and of course radios and electronics. I have included a image gallery of purchases over the last two years. None of the radios were over $5.00. The Sony ICF-7600A was one dollar from a church sale and the Emerson ATS 803 was four dollars from a thrift store. The Kuba Venetia was five dollars from a yard sale but has intermittent power issues. My best score was the Zenith Royal 7000-1 for $4.00. It has very nice sound but weighs too much to be considered portable. Of course I've paid full retail for new radios of questionable value in the past but it's the thrill of the hunt that keeps me going. If you have any similar yard sale experiences feel free to post.
