WWCL AM 1440 relaunched as Radio Visión Cristiana affiliate

Isnt RVC the big powerhouse 100,000 watter on the Turks and Caicos Islands on 530 khz? I know they have another AM somewhere in New Jersey?

At one time, WWCL was commercial classical and in stereo.

I get the Turks and Caicos transmitter loud and clear at night in Eastern North Carolina.

Interesting that 1440 is an RVC affiliate now.

1330 in NJ is the net flagship.

The Turks on 530 is no longer high power. A hurricane a couple of years ago too out the antenna and power grid feed. They are back on but at greatly reduced power. In Tampa Bay, you'll hear Radio Enciclopedia from Habana instead (and far nicer listening). Turks RVC target is primarily the Dominican Republic.
