Tegna’s CBS affiliate WUSA Washington has promoted Caridad Hernandez to news content director. She succeeds
Kathy Reynolds, who left for WPTV West Palm Beach, Fla., in May and will oversee the day-to-day operations of the news department reporting to Michael Valentine, the station’s vice president and station manager.
Hernandez currently is WUSA’s assistant news director, a role she’s held for the last two years, leading the station’s day-to-day editorial coverage and production of the station’s dayside and evening newscasts. Hernandez also led several recent specials, including the
March on Washington, and
