WSWG changing COL

CBS station WSWG/channel 44, which serves Albany in southwest Georgia, has applied to move their city of license from its current site of Valdosta to the city of Moultrie which is in the Albany market proper. A timetable for the change if the application is approved has not been set yet.

Before Gray bought it, the station's studio and offices were in Moultrie and its transmitter building (containing its master control) was in Adel. Yet its city of license was Valdosta.

Their master controls now originate from duopoly station WSST in Cordele. Marquee owns both today.
