WSUS 102.3 Founder Passes Away

Peter Bardach, the founder of WSUS 102.3 in Sussex County, NJ passed away over the weekend. I had the pleasure of working with Peter for many years beginning in 1989. He was a firm believer in the power of "local" radio and was thoroughly committed to building a station that became a hugely vital part of the community through it's local news coverage and support and partnerships with numerous charities, community service organizations, and not-for-profit groups. Thank you for all you taught me, Peter...may you rest in peace.

The fact that WSUS is running a "premium choice" VT-ed playlist under CC ownership probably didn't sit too well with Mr. Bardach before he checked out...
