Everyone sees the stories when radio companies let their talent go. Here's a case where a radio station is bringing back someone laid off a year ago. This comes from Country Aircheck:

Radio vet Jonathan Wier is rejoining Beasley WKLB/Boston as morning co-host, once again teaming with Ayla Brown for Country Mornings With Jonathan and Ayla, effective Oct. 18. He first joined WKLB in 2019 after a stint as evening host at then-Entercom News-Talk KMBZ/Kansas City. Wier departed one year ago amid a round of company downsizing. Brown has been with the station since 2018.
