per All Access, Friday she griped about how much she hated doing radio

had they hired someone who loves it, and quit firing those that do, maybe things would have been different

they never learn
 
I recall exactly her words when her new show was announced: "I think it would be fun to try radio." Ha! And then just like all the other "celebrities" that people have tried to shoehorn into a medium they knew nothing about (David Lee Roth et al) Whoopi discovered that the idea of getting up at 3am and actually having to be "on" 3 hours a day wasn't so much fun. I'm surprised she lasted this long.
