What happened to them?

There have been several announcer and DJs who have work in WV that could (and some have) worked bigger markets. Some have been forgotten.

Back in the mid to late 1980’s when WKAZ was on 950AM, they had a Morning Guy by the name of Al (Sailee?)

Come to think about it WKAZ was one of the last AM top 40 stations I heard. It did have an AC lean to it. What happened to AL? And how did WKAZ end up on on another freq.?

The calls did--moved down to 680 (the former WCAW). 950 is still on the air,as WBES, which, a long time ago, was the call for FM 96.1
