A published article several days ago says WFWL 1220 AM in Camden signed off the air for good Wednesday, December 1st, 2021 after 65 years of serving the Benton County, TN area.
Community Broadcasting Services Inc. owned the station, and plans to focus its energies on WFWL sister station, WRJB 95.9 FM. The company is also looking to repurpose W259BN, WFWL’s FM translator on 99.7.
WFWL's power was 240 watts day and 140 watts night. WRJB runs 6,000 watts, and was at 98.3 until moving to 95.9 back in 2003.
