One blogger seems to think so, pointing out that after years of giving previous Governor Tim Pawlenty (Republican) the 9 AM hour on Fridays, newly-elected Governor Mark Dayton (Democrat/Farmer/Labor) was offered by WCCO the desirable timeslot of Saturdays at 7 AM:
