UMass Dartmouth sells FM to RIPR

I wonder if this is an indication where the UMass system is going long term, with their FM stations in other parts of the state. There may be a huge transformation about to happen.

I think they're hard up for cash with dwindling enrollment thanks to increased tuition/fees and being top-heavy with politically-connected staff appointments.

Then Rhode Island Public Radio won't need so many stations since WUMD is stronger and more clear to listen than most of the RIPR FM stations.
