Sirius trial subscription question

My dad got a new Ford with a Sirius trial subscription 6 months. When that is up will they cut it off automatically or do you need to call and they will cut it off?
 
Cuts off automatically unless you call them to continue with a subscription (and pay). Go the six months and hope they forget you are there :)
 
They will never forget! Shortly before your "free" trial ends [it's not really free; if you look at your bill for your car you will see that there's a charge hidden somewhere for it] you will start getting phone calls from the telemarketers they hired to renew the service...and it will be anywhere from 2 to 10 times a day. You'll be sucked in with a low price offer but after that's up be prepared for a whopping huge increase in the service charge which will be done automatically unless you cancel before hand.....and they hope you forget to cancel.
