Rumors say

I'm hearing that 910 KKBE/93.7 will be going Regional Mexican soon. It just recently went all Christmas but from what i hear it will come back with a Spanish format and it seems that Regional is the better option.

Roswell had an alternative station? Not really something I would have ever expected out there! Although "The Crash" sounds like a very localized brand. I know that station tried to do hip-hop for a few years. There are certainly fans out there but may not be the easiest format to sell in a small conservative town. I believe KALN 102.5 does Regional Mexican out there and the owners called Hispanic Target Media are also building another station as KPQN on 96.1. I don't know if it is on or not but it will likely do some other Spanish-language format. 106.1 out of Carlsbad also rimshots the area from the south. So they would have some competition. But Roswell doesn't have a classic hits station so maybe they should do that.
