Nexstar canceling CLTV

Robert Feder had a report out this late this afternoon that Nexstar that owns WGN TV is now canceling CLTV here is his report https://www.robertfeder.com/2019/12/16/nexstar-media-pulling-plug-cltv-cable-news-channel/ . CLTV debuted on New Year's Day of 1993, and now with news being offered 24 hours a day 7 days a week a variety of multi-media platforms, they are having a hard time keeping up. And even in the latter, it is pointed out when CLTV started in 1993 there was no local morning tv news, and WGN TV only had 2 newscasts, a Noon newscast, and the 9 o'clock news, that were 9 hours apart of each other. And now they are doing news 70 hours a week, so it is hard to believe now that once upon a time they had vary little newscasts.
