New Star Morning Show Starts This Month

Star 94 PD Scott Lindy made it official.

Drex, Cassiday (both from Kiss 95.1 in Charlotte) and Tingle (from Wired 96.5 in Philly) start as new Star 94 morning show later this month.

This should really improve mornings on the station. Apparently Entercom approved this. Or was it CBS, who has been rumored to be trading with Entercom for the station?

If the only place anyone hears about this is here in Radio Discussions, it won't help them at all. It could make a major difference, but only if people who don't currently listen to the station hear about the changes so that they have a reason to tune it in and sample it.

How many morning shows will this be since Steve & Vikki?

This will be the fourth. The first was Morning Mess, followed by Cindy & Ray, then Cindy & Jimmy. Now it's try #4: Drex, Cassaday and Tingle.

This can only be a good thing for Star.
