New Country station approved in Spruce Grove, Alberta

Blackgold Broadcasting got the go ahead today to launch a new Country station in Spruce Grove-Stony Plain, Alberta. The new station will operate on 88.1 with 500 watts (average and maximum ERP). Antenna height will be 43 metres (EHAAT) with a non-directional radiation pattern.

A competing application by Golden West for a Hot AC station on 88.1 with 6,000 watts in Spruce Grove was consequently denied.
