Musical Shifts Set To Hit CHR Radio?

In the coming months the US may continue to undergo a lot of changes, and according to most forecats we will NOT see the worst of the financial crisis until after the elections.
The attitude of the general public may change with the times so one has to wonder how will all of this impact the state of CHR radio? Will the format be an escape, meaning should it rely on its feel-good factor? Or will it have to make some changes in order to stay relevant to its audience? The answer will likely fall somewhere down the middle, and here's hoping the format wont falter/collapse as we've seen other industries collapse recently.

I wonder if more VT'ed programming will come in to save cash? Anyways, maybe more stations will air Dawson McAllister Live to help the young people out through this.
