Minneapolis native TV and Film Actor Peter Graves dead at 83

An alumnus of the University of Minnesota, Graves followed his older brother James Arness out to Hollywood.

Best known for his film work in "Airplane" and television role in "Mission Impossible", Graves was also a radio announcer early in his career. His later roles included hosting A&E's "Biography" and various commercials spoofing his stoic bearing. Wikipedia says he only received his star on the "Hollywood Walk of Fame" just last year.
