MGM+

I just saw an ad for a new streaming service named MGM+. I wondered what this was. Turns out that this is the former EPIX service that has been combined with several heritage movie libraries including MGM, Republic, and some Paramount in a service that is somehow owned by Amazon:

The thing about this library is you'd think it's already been burnt to a crisp. These are movies that have been bought & sold multiple times, sold as DVDs, video discs, and shown on broadcast TV and other cable channels for years. But now they're on a new streaming service.

Not sure if it’s the same programming but I also noticed cable channel was renamed/rebranded MGM+. I looked at their programming in the next few days, there were a lot of James Bond movies, some other new/relatively new movies and some B&W classics such as Judgement at Nuremberg and Manchurian Candidate. I also noticed a number of social media friends posting they were watching the original series Godfather of Harlem on MGM+
