Management Changes coming to WLNE

Here is the announcement WLNE has released.

Tina Marie Castano has been named the station’s vice president and general manager. She returns to WLNE after serving as the general manager of WLWC, the CW affiliate in the market. From 1988 to 2004 she held a variety of sales and management positions.

Bill Lancaster is the station’s newest sales manager, Kathy Douglass has been promoted to traffic manager after serving as the national sales assistant at WLNE for the past two years. Don Curtin is now the director of broadcast operations. He started at the station in 1999 in the news and production departments.

Lastly Brian Egan will take on the role of promotion director. He started at the station as a live truck operator from 2001 to 2008. He moved into a special projects produce role where he won a number of awards.

Tina Castano has found a new home at WLNE after the the conversion of WLWC to channel sharing ION Life. Much of the WLWC website lives on, as TheCWProvidence. It has many outdated pages and links - including this one that at the time was perhaps foretelling the future:
