Louisville Radio History: Thin Lizzy

I just discovered from several sources that because of two Louisville DJs, Thin Lizzy's "Boys are Back in Town" became a hit. "We owe it all to two DJs in Louisville, Kentucky. They fell in love with the **ng song and played it incessantly until other stations in the surrounding area picked up on it… Had that song not kickstarted the sales of the album, then the band was over." According to Wikipedia and Classic Rock Magazine.

Does anyone know the DJ's and what station they were from?

It had to be LRS 102.3. WQHI was on 95.7 but they didn't have jocks. KJ100 didn't exist yet.

I was a die hard LRS fan, but I couldn't name a single jock from that era, 45 years ago.
