Is KSON 1240 and KURS 1040 now owned and operated by Winlar Asociates, because on the Wikipedia.org website it says so just wondering if that is true.

Wikipedia is incorrect. KSON-AM is still licensed to Lincoln Financial Media Co.

Nope. KSON (AM) is owned by Art Liu's Multicultural Radio Broadcasting, Inc. KURS is owned by Pacific Spanish Media (Bonilla).

David,
With all due respect: Lincoln Financial Media is the licensee of the station. Multi Cultural has a Time Brokerage Agreement with the station. Multi Cultural decided to contract (or whatever) with Winlars for 100% of the Gospel programming heard on AM 1240. Why did Winlars move from 1040 to 1240? Simple..more power, better coverage..just like they say on their promos.

Every database and publication I have shows Art as the owner... based on the 2006 sale from LFM to Mulcultural which supposedly closed or is closing this month. There is even a sales contract on the FCC records. Arte you saying this did not go through?

That is correct. No sale...yet. Can't go into details for obvious reasons, especially in this forum.
The database is just not correct at this point in time.

So now that the Soul of San Diego is on KSON 1240, is Winlar Asociates still working with KURS or does Pacific Spanish Network plan on doing a format change.

David is right; MRBI paid $4.85 mil for it in 2005. If you're still confused, I'm almost sure it's for sale for some silly price, like a number of the Multicultural properties out of the top 5 markets.
