KOOS Bay radio history

As I was getting ready for bed last night, I was remembering a time around 2000 or 2001 though could have been as late as 2002. We had decided to go to my aunt's house in Corvallis, and there was one day that we spent the day in Newport. We had eaten dinner at Izzy's, and as we got in the car to head back inland, we put on the radio and found an oldies station, only to lose it as soon as we pulled out of the lot. Apparently the station was out of Koos Bay, but I don't remember what the station was. Can anyone help me out here? I'm thinking it couldn't have been KDCQ, as they were running lower power at 93.5 than they do now, and I doubt they reach Newport today at 92.9. Many years later, 94.9 was running Classic Hits while 99.5 was running the True Oldies channel, but I don't know the history of either of those frequencies. Can anyone help me out?
