KMRY Cedar Rapids

Changing KMRY in any way sounds like an extremely bad idea. The station has amazing ratings for a small class C station. It has a translator but it had the same ratings even without it. The station has a clear following. I see zero chance adding more sports content is going to improve ratings.

KMRY has a very decent translator with full power at 328 feet, which covers much of the population of this single-county MSA. It has a 60 dbu over 181,000 persons in this 227,000 MSA, quite a bit more than the interference free coverage of the AM.
