KLMO adds 92.1 translator

I'm catching their 92.1 weakly in NE SAT now, but KNBT in New Braunfels is stronger.

BTW, Who can explain why KKYX's 104.9 translator on a building on Datapoint drive is licensed to Mendoza TX ???

it was probably moved from mendoza and the city of license wasnt changed, just the coordinates.... translators dont have a city of license coverage requirement liek full power signals doo

@SomeRadioGuy Indeed it was. Once owned by Houston Christian Broadcasters, and operated as a translator for KHCB-FM in Houston, it was sold to Cox Radio in 2016. The HCB site was off of State Highway 80, north of Lockhart, thus the Mendoza COL. It was in service to San Marcos, in its previous incarnation. With no requirements for the translator to serve its COL, Cox never bothered to amend it.
