KDOC To Air KABC-Produced Newscast

It's interesting it will air at 8 P.M. PST/PDT.

Perhaps the competition at 10 P.M. PST/PDT would have been too much.

I believe KDOC-56 is still officially licensed to somewhere in Orange County, so I wonder if KABC-7's news teams might cover a few more Orange County stories specifically for the KDOC newscast.

KABC is just following the KGO/KOFY Model KGO-TV since 2007 has signed contacts with independent KOFY-TV 20 to air the 9pm KGO-TV News. I think WPVI-TV in Philadelphia and WTVD in Raleigh got CW and My TV Networks affiliates to air their 9pm newscasts in those markets too.
