Jonathan ‘J Steele’ has resigned as Assistant Program Director/afternoon host Beasley Media of Classic Hip-Hop “105.1 The Bounce” WMGC Detroit for family purposes.

Steele joined WMGC as afternoon host in April 2019 and was promoted to APD this past May. Prior to coming to Detroit, Steele programmed Hip Hop “WAMO 100” Pittsburgh, CHR “94.7 Hits-FM” WYUL Chateaugay NY/Montreal and CHR “98.5 Kiss-FM” WPIA Peoria. He has also worked on-air as ‘DJ Miracle’ at WHIZ-FM Zanesville OH and WNGY Peoria.

The Beasley Detroit cluster seems to churn through staff at a high rate. They've gone through at least 3 Program Directors over a few months, along with various air staff members (Jonathan Steele, Ann Carlini, JT, Mark Pendleton, John Candeleria etc), while the ratings performance generally looks decent.
