Hearst Television has announced that Jillian O’Brien will take over KSBW News operations on April 27th.


Jillian O’Brien, a former assistant news director at KSBW, Hearst Television’s NBC affiliate in Monterey-Salinas, Calif. (DMA 124), has returned to the station as news director, effective April 27.

O’Brien spent much of her career within Hearst Television and at CNN, including at CNN International from 2009 to 2012.

O’Brien recently served for two years as the executive producer of Matter of Fact with Soledad O’Brien, Hearst’s syndicated weekend political TV show.
