Is the 93 KHJ profile owned by Bay Area Radio Museum?

I noticed that KHJ radio page looks like the profile that Bay Area Radio Museum would do for SF Stations. Is this profile owned by Bay Area Radio Museum?
Maybe just a coincidence or a rip off? I doubt the Bay Area Museum would do something on a Los Angeles radio station. Maybe David can answer that question?

This looks like the KHJ stuff that in the past a guy who has/had a very, very limited coverage FM in the Fresno market did...

I do remember that The Central Valley Radio Museum looked exactly like the Bay Area Museum.

Well, it's either that DFJ is using some kind of blogging software that other people are using, or he's branching out. Notice also that the memory web pages for KYA, KABL, and KSTN are similar as well.

I spoke too soon. The KSTN website now points back to the Bay Area Radio Museum website. I notice that DFJ is scarfing up a lot of defunct intellectual property. He licenses the KABL name, logo, and formatics from Clear Channel, and he's registered "KYA" with the Patent and Trademark office. I'd say that DFJ is building a radio nostalgia empire.

His KYA trademark registration: http://tess2.uspto.gov/bin/showfield?f=doc&state=4008:prbn72.2.5

So, could he be doing a Central Valley historical radio project as well? I don't see why not. This could be the radio version of IMDB that he's developing...

I'm Wondering if the 93KHJ profile I see here is supposed to be LA/Socal Radio Museum in Progress
or A state wide Radio Museum for California.

I ran a Whois search and found the KHJ page did its domain name registry through a company in Germany in 2007. The owner is listed as "oneanddone.net" of Wayne, Pennsylvania...a domain name which itself is no longer active. The Central Valley Radio Museum comes back with the same exact info, so it has to be the same guy or guys.

It's definitely not DFJ. BayAreaRadio is registered through GoDaddy and points to the Bay Area.

Interesting that there are only two pieces of audio...both credited as having been contributed by (former KHJ PD) Ron Jacobs. I saw the page back in '07 or '08. It hasn't changed.

Is the Bay Area Radio Museum hosted by the same web host as the KHJ site? That could explain it.

I don't think the web host has much to do with the look of a website, unless you're also contracting with web guys to build the site for you - then perhaps some similarities could exist.

Assuming that it's the same guy - I recall that a couple of years ago, David Jackson of BARM outed him - I don't remember his real name, but he was the fake Chris Edwards. IIRC, the guy originally claimed he was the real Chris Edwards of KYA and K101 fame, and finally kind of admitted that he wasn't. Since he has a penchant for lying, stealing brands, and copying others, maybe he also copied BARM's look and formatting.

Vern White has registered a trademark "KHJ Radio Boss Radio" but claims that he has registered "KHJ Radio" and "Boss Radio", which is not the case. http://tess2.uspto.gov/bin/showfield?f=doc&state=4004:7k0n8a.2.1 I'm not sure why somebody would spend the money doing a trademark registration for a defunct programming concept that can't possibly duplicate the original. That's like claiming the word "Tang" and making an orange colored drink out of cucumbers.

Look for "Verne's next big idea" in a grocery store near you...
