Interep loses another group

It looks as if Emmis jumped ship to Clear Channel's Katz today. Another blow to Interep, which seems to be losing one major client a year while not gaining any. In the last four years, Citadel, Cumulus, Radio One, Cumulus Media Partners (former Susquehanna - ironically the former head of Susquehanna Radio now runs Interep), and now Emmis. Who will be next, Citadel's former ABC stations? Entercom? CBS?

Decreasing national rep competition will eventually hurt overall sales. It may be a good time for Google to make a play for Interep. It looks like a good bargain for them to increase their presence in radio sales.
