I heard THIS traffic report on THIS station

CC started using the “Total Traffic” moniker on its O&Os, I suppose we’ll hear that tag on the stations using Metro’s service in the not-too-distant future. No customized outros, just say (Name), Total Traffic.

So much for making the traffic report sound unique. Have any favorite branding and reporter handles from back in the day?

Timesaver Traffic (WKAP)
Captain Ken in the Q100 Traffax Command Center (WQQQ)
Baron VonSchnitzelfunk (WAEB)

Seems like it gets more creative the farther back you go ;)

how bout here's your traffic...you now can resume listening to your favorite sirius/xm channel...cause terrestrial radio is boring.

It doesn't take rocket science to say, "Route-22 is backed up everywhere forever. And all the other lousy concrete roads are holy and busy."

i worked with 'turd on the mountain' in scranton/wb in the mid 90's..........i think THAT'S what people think of traffic
