Here you go, job seekers....

"...and you love the beach..." = LOW PAY

Sarasota is a very difficult market because of it's proximity to TPA (although a plus for promotions) and the competition it's better financed, more professionally run signals that cover the market.

It bills like a much smaller market than it is.

Does pirate radio and harassing rednecks on the CB radio count for on-air experience? Cuz, I've got a decade of that. It doesn't count? Damn, nevermind then.

You know, I tried getting a job working the board at WWBA last year, but they told me they like dead air too much to hire someone that is competent. Listening to WWBA right now... there's the dead air. Nice move guys.

I'd rather scoop dog poo down at the track.

Re: Where did THIS come from?

Oh man.... Now I remember why I got our of radio full time and went part time for so many years... I couldn't afford it !!!

part time it was classified as a hobby that didn't cost me too much ...

yet.. still wish I was back in it part time, anyway...

oh well... not much chance getting back in this market..(Sarasota/Bradenton)...

Enjoy the day...

Later...

Walt-Bradenton...
