HealthPartners Yanks Ads From KDWB After Hmong Bit

After airing a song parody poking fun at Minnesota's Hmong community "crowding into homes and girls getting pregnant early and often," KDWB 101.3 has lost sponsorship from a health insurance company. The station has since posted an apology on their Facebook page.

The backlash continues... There was a protest outside the station today:

One protester says, "I know if I was to commit something like this, I'd be out the door in five minutes." As I said above, this probably won't blow over until somebody exits.

I'm truly asking here, as I do not know for myself...but what is the Hmong community? Is living crowdedly (totally not a word lol) and young girls getting pregnant common in that community? If so, there's no reason for this backlash. If it is totally madeup and they are trying to say that's what happens when it actually doesn't, then they are wrong.
