HD3

I see on iBiquitys web site a few ststions running HD3. Anyone out there heard an HD3 on air?

I am hoping to get close enough in my travels today to get to Ft Wayne, IN where WBOI is runnign HD3.

Just wondering wht it sounds like, quality of audio etc.

Nope HD2. I WANT to put one on HD3!

I'm the Chief Engineer for WLTJ radio Pittsburgh, I'm running HD3. our HD2 is Classic Rock and our HD3 is Urban AC, I had them up and running since January 2006. I would highly recommend using the MP3 instead of the MP1 configuration for the added bandwidth, under the MP1 your allocated 96kbps using the MP3 you will get an additional 24kbps which can be only be used for the HD3

my bandwidth allocation is like this
MPS = 48.09kbps
SPS_1 = 47.70 kbps
SPS_2 = 24.09 kbps
