PLEASE SHOW UP AT CBS STUDIOS WEDNESDAY, THURSDAY, & FRIDAY FROM 6-9 TO SUPPORT O&A, 40 WEST 57TH STREET, BETWEEN 5TH AND 6TH
Here is a list of things you can do to help O&A in their time of need. Please do all of these things, then do them again, then find away to get 100 other people to do them!!!!!!!!!!

CANCEL YOUR XM SUBSCRIPTION!!!! IF YOU CANCEL, IT IS VERY IMPORTANT THAT YOU NOT TAKE THE 30 FREE DAYS OR THE 3 FREE MONTHS. YOU ARE NOT MAKING ANY STATEMENT AT ALL IF TAKE THE 30 DAYS.
Do not smash your radios yet. Wait. We'll come up with a plan to make a statement.

CONSTANTLY CALL XM. THEY HAVE RECEIVED A RECORD AMOUNT OF CALLS ALREADY, AND TONIGHT AND TOMORROW ITS IMPORTANT THAT WE REGISTER AS MANY CALLS WITH THEM AS WE CAN. KEEP CALLING EVEN IF YOU'VE ALREADY CANCELLED OR YOU'RE NOT CANCELLING. ALSO CONSTANTLY EMAIL XM.
CALL CBS AND THE CBS SPONSORS AND THANK THEM FOR SPONSORING O&A AND ASK THEM TO CONTINUE SPONSORING O&A.
CONTACT ANY PRESS WHO WILL LISTEN TO YOU
JOIN PAC AND GET ANYONE YOU CAN TO JOIN AS WELL
CONTACT ANY COMICS/MUSICIANS/PEOPLE WHO HAVE APPEARED ON O&A. WRITE THEIR EMAILS AND MYSPACES AND ASK THEM TO STAND UP FOR O&A IN THE MEDIA. TELL THEM O&A PROMOTED YOU--- PLEASE HELP THEM NOW.
Here are some examples of people to myspace/email: Jay Mohr, Tracy Morgan, Carlos Mencia, Joe Rogan, Otto and George, Bob Sagat, Ralphie May, Dr. Ian Smith, Louis Black, Audioslave, Louis CK, Mila Jovavich, WWE personalities, Quentin Tarentino, Jim Breuer, Brian Regan, Steven Lynch, Sherrod Small, Judah Friedlander, Carolines Comedy Club, etc.

MOST IMPORTANTLY- GET OTHERS TO DO THESE THINGS TO: TELL YOUR FRIENDS, REACH OUT TO OTHER MESSAGE BOARDS. POST ON THE BOARDS OF SEAN HANNITY, RUSH LIMBAUGH, GLEN BECK, THE DOGHOUSE, THE RADIO CHICK AND ANYONE YOU CAN THINK OF. AS THE NIGHT GOES ON, I WILL SUPPLEMENT THIS LIST WITH MORE IDEAS, AND TRY TO FILL IN THE EMAIL ADDRESSES YOU NEED. ENCOURAGE ALL OF THOSE PEOPLE TO COMPLETE EVERY STEP ON THIS LIST!!!!
GO TO ATLANTIC CITY THIS WEEKEND AND SUPPORT THE O&A POKER TOURNAMENT EVEN IF YOU'RE NOT PLAYING.
SEND OUT MYSPACE BULLITENS AND POST COMMENTS IN THE PAGES OF FAMOUS PEOPLE TO GET THE WORD OUT TO SUPPORT O&A! SEND THEM TO WWW.PEOPLEAGAINSTCENSORSHIP.COM. TELL THEM TO REGISTER.
REACH OUT TO OTHER FREE SPEECH ORGANIZATIONS, THE ADULT INDUSTRY, ANYONE WHO HAS AN INTEREST IN THIS ISSUE! REACH OUT TO THE PRESS.
GO BACK TO STEP 1 AND DO IT ALL AGAIN!

Supporting a commercial television or radio show is fine. Express yourself. Write letters. Bang on pots and pans. Try a boycott. But it's not a censorship or a free speech issue. O & A and anyone else mentioned above all have their constitutional rights to free speech firmly intact. They are free to express themselves in print, on the internet, on any radio or tv station that they are a guest on or that they might own. They can shout it out from the highest mountain and the local street corner 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. But, there is no constitutional right to be paid to express your opinion. They are not guaranteed a platform with a paycheck. JV & Elvis, Don Imus, etc., were paid employees. They were paid to perform an unscripted radio program. Both expressed ideas and made what they thought were entertaining comments that listeners objected to. Those listeners expressed themselves to the employers of the entertainers and used their free speech rights to let the public know of their dissatisfaction. The employers decided to terminate the entertainer. That’s their right. The entertainers have constitutionally guaranteed right to sue the former employer for breach of contract. That’s how it works.

Here's something else you can do to help O&A:

GET A CLUE.

They were NOT suspended for the Homeless Charlie bit. They were suspended for violating a direct order of management not to discuss the bit or their apology to XM's management on their show.

When adults are insubordinate to their employers, they should expect to be punished. Holding this up as some sort of "free speech" issue is a crock.

I don't understand this at all. XM is a private company. Free Speech and the 1st Ammendment do not apply hre. XM is free to choose what airs and what does not. conversely, people who are unhappy with the decision of said private compnay have the freedom and right to protese and vote with their dollars by cancelling their subscriptions and boycotting.

BTW: Anybody have an Inno they don't want anymore? I'm all ears. ;)
