This Deal by EMF comes days after EMF got a station in Corpus Christi, TX
Educational Media Foundation has agreed to purchase 1.3kW Classic Hits WATG-FM (95.7) licensed to Trion, GA and serving the Rome, GA market, from TTA Broadcasting for $200,000. The deal is subject to FCC approval. EMF, headed by Alan Mason, owns and operates 250 stations nationwide, as well as the Air1, K-Love and K-Love Classics networks. Locally-owned TTA Broadcasting is headed by Randy Davis. He also owns WLAQ-AM and its FM translator in Rome.
