This time on Sports Parking Lot 15~Eighty (KQFN) as part of a new morning team that replaces Monty In The Morning. https://www.allaccess.com/net-news/...lly-replaces-monty-in-the-morning-o?ref=email Since FoxSports 9~Ten recently stepped up their local lineup, the heat is on KQFN to avoid cellar dweller bragging rights with Sports Parking Lot 10~Sixty. Nurse Jeff and I've lost track of how many times Jacobs has been hired, fired, and returns..but it's gotta be close to the number of postings by the Old Gringo!

Didn't Jacobs' last sports radio job (as host on the Sporting News Radio Network--I think it was via On-Air Sports Marketing) last about a week? I wonder if that will be the same here.

98.7 is the 800-pound gorilla in local sports talk radio, but their morning- and afternoon drive hosts could be better. Since they have the best signal, listeners have become complacent with them.
 
As long as Jacobs has a partner (read: adult supervision) and stays away from politics, he's OK.

That could be the case.

I'm surprised azcentral ignored this. But then again, they are biased toward those awful station-hopping pay-for-play guys that are currently on 910.

He was unbelievably bad at politics, just ignorant and unbearable.

As for sports, eh, he had his chance
