Azteca 7 and 13 on cable

Azteca 7 and Azteca 13 (XHIMT and XHDF in Mexico City, respectively) have been missing from cable lineups in parts of Mexico since early February due to a re-transmission dispute, not unlike what has gone on in some U.S. cities in recent years. On MegaCable in suburban Mexico City, XHIMT has been replaced by a national feed of Telemundo from the United States. Some of the cable systems in question are owned by Azteca's main competitor, Televisa.

I have to wonder how much longer this is going to go on. It would also appear to me that cable in Mexico does not require all "local" signals to be carried; MegaCable where I live does not carry XHTVM (Canal 40) or XHTRES (Canal 28).
