Article about KDKB and Bill Compton

Really interesting article about KDKB when it was a great rock station: 'Your radio friend': This Phoenix DJ played what he liked. A generation couldn't turn away One of the quotes in the article caught my attention: "Most stations would just find one cut to play and they'd play that, KDKB would play three or four cuts right away." Does anyone know if this continued after Bill Compton left as I listened daily in the early 1980s and songs that I thought were huge hits because I heard them on KDKB never charted (such as Im Gonna Follow You by Pat Benatar and Where Were You by Journey).

Great article; thanks for sharing that one!
