Programming Changes

  • KPPX-TV 51.x (31) Tolleson (Ion Media Phoenix License LLC) has rebranded its IonLife channel on 51.3 to IonPlus, reflecting the networks transition from lifestyle programming to drama.
  • KPHE-LD 44.x (16) Phoenix (Lotus TV of Phoenix LLC) dropped CTYC from channel 44.5 and replaced it a duplication of shopping/infomercial programming that airs on other subchannels. Sometimes its JTV from 44.4 and other times it's ONTV4U from 44.6.
  • K14RK-D 38.x Phoenix (Spanish Independent Broadcasting Network Inc.) has moved Spanish-language Alpha from channel 38.2 to channel 38.3, replacing IZ Videos programming. Lit Life TV, a celebration of cannabis culture, now airs on channel 38.2. How long before they forget to pay their bill and get dropped?
  • KVCW 33.x (29) Las Vegas NV (KUPN Licensee LLC) has added a new subchannel. Comet TV programming now airs on channel 33.5 after an absence of several months from Vegas airwaves.
  • KHDF-CD 19.x Las Vegas NV (HC2 Station Group Inc.) has placed ONTV4U infomercials on channel 19.3.
  • KGNG-LD 26.x Las Vegas NV (King Kong Broadcasting Inc.) has replaced Buzzr TV on channel 26.2 with TeleAntenna, which formerly had aired on KHDF-CD 19.3. Buzzr TV has moved to channel 26.4, replacing Retro TV.

Transactions

  • KTTU-TV 18.x (19) Tucson (Tucker Operating Company LLC) is proposed to be sold to TEGNA Inc. The sale is pending FCC approval.
