Anyone listening to Toast Of The Nation all-night jazz on WLRN -- New Years Eve

Any Toast Of The Nation fans out there?

It's NPR's annual New Year's Eve jazz event, coast to coast.

I listen to it on WLRN almost every year until I fall
asleep. (I hate going out on New Year's Eve, other
than for supper.) I don't know if WXEL carries it.

It's the high point of the holiday for me.

But I guess it's not such a big deal as before, because
with web radio, now I can listen to jazz every day.

Does anyone else listen to Toast? Any WLRN people here?

Much more info about it in Radio News, per sig.

(I would have waited 'til next week to post this,
but this board is really dead.)<P ID="signature">______________

I'll be listening to it.

I actually complained to the National Call Center about how terrible WLRN TV is. I told the gentleman they always seem to air one particular Cartoon with Bears, over & over again. I did mention how great WPBT 2 is. Little did I know he was collecting donations for them as well. Did I give?
