AM Frequency of the Week 1130

Status
Not open for further replies.
Central Kansas:
Fair, audible signal from the recently relaunched KLEY/Wellington during daytime. Nighttime, it’s not existent, though not sure if I’ve received KWKH in the past at night.

North Iowa:
A weak KTLK/Minneapolis days. Nights, not sure.

West central Georgia:
Strong WALQ during the day with Spanish language programming from Montgomery AL. When this station was silent for a while, I could catch a weak signal from WLBA Gainesville Ga (also Spanish).
At night this frequency is now dominated by a strong signal from WALQ presumably running day power at night. When WALQ powered down, I could occasionally hear a weak WBBR New York or KWKH Shreveport.

ANY power at night for WALQ is a no no.

WLBA has allegedly been running at night for far too long, according to someone closer to the situation
